A CITY schoolgirl has bagged an armful of dance awards.
Rosie Cant, a pupil at King’s School, Worcester, showed the poise to collect gold medals in the song and dance and character sections, with silver in classical ballet, Greek and national dance sections.
She also collected the classical aggregate award for her performances over both weekends and an award for musicality and interpretation through dance at the Redditch Dance Festival in January.
She also came third in the West Midlands Junior Ballet Championship.
The 12-year-old, of Inkberrow, a student of the Latham School Of Dance, wants to go to performing arts school when she finishes at King’s. Proud mum Sarah said: “She’s been competing since she four years old. We were very proud as she’s worked so hard.”
