NUNNERY Wood Scorpions Under 10s provided yet more sting with a 6-0 beating of Ferndale Youth in the Stourport Youth League.
Missing George Baker, who was on trial with Birmingham City, the title-chasers took a while to get going but led 1-0 at half-time through Harry Cotterill’s finish from a Jacob Saul pass.
A better second-half display featured braces from Alex Hunt and Harry Saunders as well as a tremendous strike by George Watkins.
Oliver Twigg and Saul were joint players-of-the-match.
Nunnery Wood Leopards went down 6-1 to Kidderminster Lions in the League Cup with Harry Stringer on target in the first-half after linking up well with Finley Stanley.
Aidan Lee, George Cafferkey and Ryan Hall were strong defensively, while Joshua Santafe was Leopards’ player-ofthe- match.
