MORE than 100 guests were knocked out by a fund-raising night.
The evening, organised by the Droitwich Amateur Boxing Club and Droitwich Spa Rotary Club, raised £1,500 for Worcester’s St Richard’s Hospice.
The dinner at Chateau Impney, Droitwich, included boxing, a silent auction, a tote, and a raffle.
Alison Parkes, of the hospice, said: “We are delighted with the donation from the clubs. The hospice relies on groups in the community like this who raise funds so we can continue to offer a haven of care, comfort and compassion to all our patients and their families.”
The hospice provides free specialist care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
