A MURDER inquiry has been launched by police following two deaths.

Officers were called to an address in Cooper Street, Malvern, where 39-year-old Sarah Fernandes Mason’s body had been discovered on Friday, February 4.

They were called to the CrownGate shopping centre in Worcester earlier the same evening following reports of a man found outside the multi-storey car park with serious head injuries.

The man, 28-year-old Aaron Thomas Stewart from Malvern, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital but died from his injuries shortly after.

Detective Inspector Jon Wallis said: “After results of a post mortem examination, we can confirm that we have launched a murder investigation into the death of Sarah Fernandes Mason.

“Aaron Stewart’s death is still being treated as an unexplained death but we would like to reassure people that these are linked but isolated incidents and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with them.”
