A WORCESTER church has got messy for the first time.
About 20 children attended the first Messy Church event at St Martin’s in London Road on Saturday. The children learned more about the story of Noah and his ark through making animal masks, rain sticks and origami boats. They also helped paint their own ark, before coming together and singing songs and enjoying some food. Volunteer Gail Rowley said: “This was the first Messy Church we’ve held, but it will be monthly. The idea is for families to come together.” The next Messy Church will be on Saturday, March 26, from 10am. For more details, call Gail and Martin Rowley on 01905 356293.
