A MAN has died in a Worcestershire village after a firearms incident.
Officers confirmed they were called to an incident involving a gun in Inkberrow earlier today.
Emergency services were called to an address in Priory Farm Lane at 8.02am.
Several police cars, medics and an ambulance were called to the barn conversion after the alarm was raised and a man was taken to Alexandra Hospital in Redditch a short time later.
He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Scene guards and a police cordon remain in place around the home as forensic examiners prepare to look through any evidence at the property.
Sgt James Clifford said: "There is no risk to the local community. "Nobody has been arrested."
