TAILS will be wagging in Worcester this weekend as a long-running dog show organised by a charitable resident takes place.
The Karen Bray Memorial Companion Dog Show has been running for the past six years and was started by 64-year-old Mo Hoskins, of Tolladine Road, Warndon, Worcester.
It is being hosted at Worcestershire Countryside Park, Spetchley Road, on Sunday. Entries are from noon, with judging starting at 1pm.
Previously the event has attracted between 250 and 450 dogs from across the country.
There are 18 classes comprising six pedigree, two for handling and 10 novelty categories. The event is run on the day by four volunteers.
Entry is £1 per dog per class and the proceeds are split between the English Mastiff Rescue group and vet's fees for dogs belonging to homeless people in Worcester.
