A MAN has admitted exposing himself to a number of students near a girls’ school in Malvern.

Kenneth Jones was seen by the girls, aged between 16 and 18, on three different dates near to Malvern St James, Avenue Road.

Jones, of Salisbury Close, Ronkswood, admitted three separate counts of exposure and one act of outraging public decency when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court.

Sarah Stock, prosecuting, said on the first occasion Jones was parked on Avenue Road at 8.15am on Wednesday, November 24, when he was seen by a 16-year-old girl and her friend.

She noticed the 34-year-old performing a sexual act while he spoke on the phone. Almost two months later, Jones was seen by an 18 and 17-year-old as they walked down Tibberton Road, which crosses Avenue Road, on Wednesday, January 12, at 8am.

This time, he exposed himself through his trousers as he walked towards them.

Forty minutes later, Jones was seen by a different girl exposing himself in exactly the same way.

Jones exposed himself to a teenage girl for the final time as he walked down Tibberton Road on Monday, January 31, at about 1.40pm.

He was later spotted and identified by a community support officer, who saw him in the area and recognised him from descriptions given by the girls.

Although he originally refused to answer any police questions, he eventually said he had had some traumatic experiences in his life leading up to these events – including losing his partner to leukaemia.

District judge Bruce Morgan ordered a full pre-sentence report.

Jones will next appear at Worcester Magistrates Court on Friday, June 24.
