SIR – I read in the Worcester News that the city planners have approved the conversion of a house in Dart Road into four self contained flats. Hundreds of flats are on the market and many more are being built.
There are plenty of potential buyers, but until the Government and building societies assist people to obtain mortgages, the situation will not improve.
