SIR – It’s good to see that the IMF has backed the Cameron/Osborne financial cuts and austerity plans.
A worthy body – even if it did note that they weren’t working very well!
I understand the board of FIFA are also backing the plans or at least will be when they’ve cashed the cheques!
Seems strange that Cameron didn’t support Gordon Brown’s candidacy for the leadership of the IMF – can’t for the life of me see why.
