A FREE community music festival rocked a city park at the weekend.
Radio station Youthcomm’s Minifest featured 16 live acts at Cripplegate Park in Worcester from noon until 7pm on Saturday.
Hundreds turned up for the event, which this year had a Wild West theme complete with bucking bronco ride.
There were plenty of family activities to keep young and old occupied including arts and crafts and a mini farm.
The event was organised by Worcester Community Trusts and the radio station’s volunteers.
Senior youth worker Becky Maynard, of the community trust, said she was “impressed with the efforts and dedication of the volunteers, who have given up their time to plan the whole festival.”
The event was broadcast on YouthComm Radio’s 106.7FM frequency.
