FORTY youngsters, a keyboard player, a brougham carriage and Hotz the horse caused a stir in Worcester city centre.
Hotz pulled the carriage which brought Eddie Paisley and Cerys Jones, two of the principal cast members in the Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society Youth Section (WODYS) production of Half a Sixpence, to the High Street.
Cast members sang songs from the show, which will be at the Swan theatre later this month. Both the youngsters and Hotz, a black Friesian horse from the Grafton Carriage Company, Bromsgrove, attracted the attention of scores of shoppers on Saturday.
Half a Sixpence is being staged from Tuesday, July 26, to Saturday, July 30.
