A WORCESTER restaurant is keen to remind customers who haven’t yet signed up for their Worcester News loyalty card of the benefits they can enjoy.

Using the card at Nando’s restaurant in Friar Street will give customers 20 per cent off food and drink.

As we reported back in March, former manager Mike Rowley said the restaurant had seen a rise in business by offering the discount and had seen in surge of interest in customers wanting the loyalty card.

Mr Rowley said customers were returning to the restaurant earlier than they would normally thanks to the benefits of using the card.

General manager Vicky Webb said: “It’s good for us when people use the loyalty card because obviously they would choose us over people who aren’t offering discount with it and of course it’s good for them because they get money off. People can come for a good meal at a lower price.”

The Worcester News loyalty card offers incentives to a wide range of shops, gyms and bars in the high street and on leisure activities in Worcester and beyond.

Nando’s is famous for its peri-peri chicken. Peri-peri is the Swahili word for the African bird’s eye chilli, a plant indigenous to the continent.

Nando’s chicken is served in quarters, halves and whole and is also available in a burger, pitta, salad or wraps.

The restaurant also serves a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including bottomless soft drinks, where customers can replenish their glass as many times as they wish.

l The loyalty card is only available to readers who get their Worcester News delivered six days a week.
