AN injured man was trapped for over an hour after his car was in a crash on the M5.
The man in his 40s suffered chest and abominal injuries after the two-car crash at the southbound services exit at Strensham in the early hours of this morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the motorway just after 2.50am.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “Ambulance crews found two cars had collided at the exit to the southbound services at Strensham.
“One car had come to rest on its side and over the nearside crash barrier.”
The man was stabilised at the scene and later taken by ambulance to Worcester Royal Hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the other car involved escaped injury.
Two ambulances and a paramedic in a rapid response car were sent to the scene.
