A TOUCH of Italian flamboyance and flair graced the streets of Worcester during a popular market with a distinctly Mediterranean flavour.
Rome may not have been built in a day but the Italian market or “Italia Piazza” in Worcester High Street was up and running for three.
The market, organised by VisitWorcester, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday allowed people to enjoy authentic Italian produce from 18 stalls offering everything from cured meats to fresh bread.
Nadja von Dahlen, events co-ordinator at VistWorcester, said: “It’s really bringing a bit more buzz and life to this part of the High Street.
"The people on the stalls were all speaking Italian.
“It’s really bringing a bit of Italy to Worcester but we are also selling Worcester to the Italians.”
