More than 50 people dropped into a coffee morning to share their memories of Kays for a community history project.
People travelled from as far away as Warrington for the event at the University of Worcester, arranged by the World of Kays project.
This aims to create an online resource for people looking into the history of the Worcester company that was founded in the 19th century.
Chairman of Kays Heritage Group Bernard Mills was also on hand to provide some historical background.
