LIDO campaigners have come up with a novel way of securing its future.
The voluntary Friends of Droitwich Spa Lido Group is inviting people to do a sponsored swim and raise money to keep the brine pool open.
The lido needs support for it to pay its way, and is always in need of sponsorship and donations.
Councillor Richard Morris said: “This is a chance for anyone to help support our invaluable lido.
“Extra money to support the costs of our lido will go a long way.
“The friends of the lido, under the chairmanship of Sheila Preston, have done an excellent job in their first year so I would ask people to please support their work.”
