THREE high profile Worcester business people are to be arrested – and they need your help to get bail.

David Lloyd, landlord of the Coach and Horses in the Tything; Michelle Sanders, managing director of Very Red PR; and Colin Foxall, commercial director at Nexus Creative, will all be arrested, handcuffed, fingerprinted and then imprisoned in the Guildhall tomorrow.

But none of them have done anything wrong.

They are all taking part in a fund-raising event for Sight Concern Worcestershire which supports people throughout the county affected by sight loss and they need you to come forward and donate bail money so they can be released. The group hopes to raise £1,500.

Fiona Blake, Sight Concern Worcestershire’s fund-raising manager, said: “Jail n Bail is something different and is great fun and, most importantly, offers a great way to support the work we do helping the visually impaired across Worcestershire.

“There are an estimated 10,000 people in Worcestershire with some form of visual impairment yet Sight Concern Worcestershire currently only has access to 2,500 of those.

“This type of event helps raise much-needed funds, but also makes people who need it aware of how we can help,” she said.
