A SCHOOL has won an award for its use of online learning.
Hallow Primary School, near Worcester, has been praised for its use of technology to transform the classroom by learning resource firm UniServity.
The school was selected from almost 3,000 eligible schools across the world as winner of the Innovative Prize category of the Online Learning Awards.
It had to submit a video entry showcasing the ways in which it uses UniServity’s tools.
As well as funding, the school will receive an engraved trophy and framed certificate.
Simon de Montfort Middle School in Evesham was also shortlisted and received a commendation.
Teacher Louise Maund said: “The children think it’s fantastic and the award is great recognition of everyone’s hard work.”
