A BRA-vellous pamper night at a Worcester school raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
More than 20 therapists gave up their time for a charitable evening of treats at Pitmaston Primary School in Malvern Road, St John’s, in aid of the Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign and the school.
A total of £1,015 was raised from the evening and 40 per cent of that will go to the campaign, which is supported by your Worcester News. Eighty-eight bras were donated to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity for re-gifting and recycling.
Jodie Collins, of the Friends of Pitmaston Primary School, helped to organise the event.
She said: “The night was absolutely amazing. We raised more than we had anticipated by a long shot. Everybody was so kind.”
