Man on train line sparks police response
POLICE were called to Malvern Link last night to deal with a man on the railway line.
A number of police vehicles, including the helicopter, were sent to Lower Howsell Road, near The New Inn, at about 7.30pm.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "There was a concern for the safety of a man on the railway track."
She added how the man was removed from the tracks and later arrested on suspicion of assault.
