THE December 20 meeting will be entitled Compliments of the Season with Frank Townsend, and the competition will be a home-made Christmas card.
Following discussions, the WI will meet on the second Tuesday in the month starting in January 2012, so in January it will be on the 10th.
The November meeting was a demonstration by WI cookery club, to include tastes of foods.
WICC will meet on Thursday, November 24, at Beth’s. The theme will be Childhood Foods Remembered. Anyone for tripe and onions ‘Geordie’ style?
The reading group will meet to discuss One Day by David Nicholls.
The evening group will be at Ruth’s on Tuesday, November 1, and the afternoon group will meet at Charlotte’s at 3pm on Friday, November 4.
