A TORNADO has ripped the roof off a building in Worcestershire.
The brief twister was reported after the roof of a stable was ripped off and a couple of trees were uprooted on a farm near Inkberrow.
There were also reports of tornadoes in Redditch.
However, Worcester News weatherman Paul Damari said it was nothing out of the ordinary.
“It is not unusual to get these tornadoes,” he said. “Sometimes they go undetected if they occur in the countryside.
“There was some damage done to roofs, caused by the winds touching down.
"Unless I saw it myself, I would not like to say it is definitely a tornado.
“But I know there were some funnel clouds reported and, because of the damage, I would confidently say that it has touched the ground.”
And more tornadoes could be on the way as the changeable weather continues into tomorrow.
“We are expecting more squally winds on the way,” said Mr Damari.
