THE Worcester Warriors will be proudly wearing shirts designed by a city primary school pupil later this month.

Nine-year-old Alice Scarrott beat off hundreds of other entries to have her shooting stars design chosen and it will now adorn the shirts of the rugby team when they play Leicester Tigers at Sixways on Tuesday, December 27.

The shirts will then be auctioned off to raise money for the Worcester Warriors Community Foundation, Acorns Children’s Hospice and the Wooden Spoon charity.

Now the club has joined forces with official kit supplier Cotton Traders to produce 100 limited edition copies of the shirts which can be purchased by filling in a booking form or calling the Sixways store on 01905 459319.

Each shirt costs £100 and proceeds will go to the three nominated charities.
