MEMBERS of the Co-operative Group across the two counties will be receiving a share of a record interim dividend of more than £316,000.
In the first half of the year, the group’s 95,000 customer members in Worcestershire and Herefordshire who used their dividend card and have accumulated at least £2 in dividend will receive a payout.
Community groups in the region are set to benefit to the tune of £26,000, thanks to members who have elected to give all, or part, of their share of the profits to charity.
Members of the Co-operative receive a cash payment based on the points they earn when they trade with any of the group’s businesses, which include Co-operative Food, Pharmacy, Funeralcare, Electricals, Motors and Legal Services as well as the Co-operative Bank Group.
