WORCESTER’S intrepid hula hooper is off once more to India to teach circus skills to underprivileged children.
Gemma Goddard, of Rainbow Hill, is travelling to India in January as part of Performers Without Borders, which teaches performance skills to vulnerable children and helps, among other things, to boost confidence.
Miss Goddard, aged 27, will be visiting three different places for a month at a time – Varanasi, Darjeeling and Calcutta.
But it is not just about the circus skills this time as the group will also be focusing more on teaching drama.
