A WORCESTER schoolgirl is living the high life after being signed to one of the country’s top modelling agencies.

Ella Raybone, aged 14, of St Peter’s, was spotted by scouts for Select Model Management at last year’s Clothes Show Live in Birmingham and has gone on to front a number of campaigns and fashion shoots.

Ella, a year nine pupil at the King’s School, Worcester, had attended the Clothes Show with friends and said she was shocked when she was approached by the scouts.

She said: “I was just there with my friends for the day, I was walking around and one of the scouts said that I should go down to their stall.

“I was shocked at first because I wasn’t expecting it and I was flattered of course.”

In her first year of modelling, Ella has already taken part in two shoots and done a couple of castings for various companies and is successfully juggling her modelling with school.

She said: “It’s really exciting. Most of the modelling is done in my spare time or at the weekends so it hasn’t interrupted school.

“My friends are happy for me and have been really interested in the stuff I’m doing and how it’s going.

“People in school have also said really nice things on Facebook.”

This year’s Clothes Show Live takes place at Birmingham NEC until today and Ella has attended this year again with her friends.

Select Model Management has been one of the country’s top modelling agencies for the past 30 years and is the official model scouts for Clothes Show Live.

The company has launched the careers of some of Britain’s best models including Daisy Lowe, Agnes Deyn, Jamie Dornan and David Gandy.
