A COUPLE are appealing for the safe return of a camera containing precious memories of a special anniversary.
Jean and Maurice Thompson were shopping in Worcester last Wednesday when the silver Canon Powershot A30001S digital camera went missing.
They had taken the 144 bus from Droitwich at about 10.30am, getting off at Foregate Street before walking around the city centre.
Mr and Mrs Thompson, from Droitwich, had lunch at McDonald’s in Hylton Road and then caught a bus back to Droitwich from CrownGate bus station at about 1.30pm.
But when they arrived home, they discovered the camera had disappeared.
Mrs Thompson said the couple were keen to get it back because it contained pictures of a holiday in Germany and Switzerland and a celebration at the Chateau Impney in Droitwich to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
“It’s not so much the camera, but what it contains,” she said.
