STUDENTS at Queen Elizabeth Humanities College have tasted early success in their GCSEs.
Of those sitting early entry exams at the Bromyard school, 60 per cent achieved C grades or above in English and mathematics.
Among those with particularly promising results are brother and sister Jacques and Danielle Brunsdon, in year 11 and nine respectively, who gained good GCSE passes in Dutch and Africaans.
Jacques, who is also the deputy head boy, said: “It is good that school has provided us with the opportunity to take these additional languages. We also study French and Latin and could therefore leave school with GCSEs in four languages.”
Assistant headteacher David Kemp said: “We are so pleased that out current year 11s are on course to achieve the level of success that our last group gained. They are expected to make further progress during the main exam session in June.”
