A SCHOOL is celebrating the completion of a £50,000 project to ensure a warmer welcome for pupils, staff and visitors alike.
After three months of work, a new extension to the entrance foyer at Welland Primary School is now complete.
As well as offering more space for the school’s children, it also provides a waiting area for parents and a new toilet for the disabled.
Headteacher Rachael Huff said the extension had made a huge difference.
She said: “It looks beautiful and everyone here loves it. It’s modern, clean and fresh and gives us more space and better access.”
The project was jointly-funded by the school and Worcestershire County Council, with each contributing about £25,000.
