A KIND-HEARTED woman has been honoured by Droitwich’s Rotary club for her work as a troop leader with the Girl Guides.
Alice Parker has been given a good citizen award by the Rotary Club of Droitwich Spa in recognition of her services which came to the attention of the group when she gave a talk to Rotary members. She was given the award by town Mayor Michael Barratt at a tea party in Rotary House, Corbett Avenue. The leader has helped with the Girl Guides for 20 years and will now be helping to start a new Rainbow group for the Brownies.
