So far, we have had 16 entries but with the deadline now extended until Monday, there is still time to enter.

The new Worcestershire Rose competition is open to women aged 17 to 40 and offers the opportunity to become an ambassador for your county.

In conjunction with Worcester Racecourse and hairdresser Umberto Giannini, we are looking for someone who can represent the county at a variety of local events. The winner will be chosen by a panel of local celebrities during a special family day at the racecourse on Sunday, May 13. Entrants must be willing and available to give up their time to represent Worcestershire at charity, sport, social and local business events.

In return, they can win more than £1,000 of prizes, including a year’s worth of free hair cuts and colour treatments, fashion and lingerie vouchers, beauty care products, a trip to The Malvern spa, two annual memberships to Worcester Racecourse and the chance to be a model for the day, courtesy of Ali Mai Boutique and 31B in Barbourne,Worcester.
