A FIRST aid course will give people in Worcester the chance to become life savers.
The British Red Cross courses will take place on Monday, April 2; Friday, May 5 or Thursday, June 7, at the Red Cross centre in Worcester.
The courses take two hours and will give participants the knowledge and confidence to become life-savers if a colleague, friend or family member falls ill or is injured.
It covers common first aid scenarios, including what to do if someone is choking, unconscious or bleeding, and how to treat a burn or fracture. It will also help participants spot the warning signs of a heart attack or stroke, and give them the tools to step in and act.
Training is at the British Red Cross, Bradbury Court, Berkeley Business Park, Wainwright Road, Worcester and the course costs £15.
