KEEN walkers with a sense of adventure are being urged to trek the Great Wall of China for charity.
The fund-raising trip for St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester involves seven days trekking the historic 6,000km route, as well as a day in Beijing.
Walkers keen to take on the challenge need to pay a £349 registration fee and raise a minimum of £3,100 through fund-raising. The St Richard’s fund-raising team is on hand to offer people advice.
Hospice fund-raiser Sara Fernie said: “This is a challenging trek which takes you through woodland and terraced farmland, beautiful hills and remote areas offering fabulous scenery.”
The trip takes place between October 11 and 21.
