TWO Worcester News readers are enjoying that winning feeling after striking it lucky in one of our competitions.
Eileen Avery, aged 75, and Alison McDonald, 48, scooped £400 and £200 respectively in Lucky Numbers and are now busy planning how to use the cash to treat themselves and their families.
Mrs Avery, of Cormorant Rise, Lower Wick, Worcester, sent in eight sets of numbers but the one that struck gold was 15, 25 and 50.
Mrs McDonald, of St John’s, Worcester, selected 25, 44 and 57 to bag the prize.
They were presented with their cheques by Worcester News editor Peter John and promotions manager Sarah Bevan.
Readers are reminded the competition finishes on Saturday and more winners could be waiting for their windfall after no one came forward to match the sets of numbers on Friday and Saturday, March 23-24.
