A Worcester school has won a choir competition eight times in a row.
The senior choir at RGS The Grange fought off stiff competition to be crowned the winners at the annual Worcester Competitive Arts Festival. The choir received a distinction from the adjudicator David Lawson for its performances of the Lily and the Rose and Circles of Motion by Bob Chilcott.
Michelle Corrie, head of music at the school, said: “It is all down to the children’s hard work and dedication, especially as they were preparing to sing in RGS Worcester’s concert at Worcester Cathedral.”
