PEOPLE are being invited to join in a spot of horseplay to raise money for charity.

St Richard’s Hospice is urging teams of two to take part in their Pantomime Horse Race at Worcester Racecourse on Wednesday, May 23.

The teams will gallop over one furlong, with prizes for the first three to finish and the best turned out.

People are asked to raise a minimum of £250 sponsorship which will secure their place and a pantomime horse costume.

St Richard’s Hospice fund-raiser Lizzie Brazier said: “The bets will be on. If it is anything like last year it will be very funny to watch and the teams love the crowds cheering them on.

“Lots of companies took part and their horses wore the firms’ colours and corporate livery.”

Registration forms can be downloaded from strichards.org.uk/panto.
