'Weapons' fight leads to witness appeal

A MAN has been arrested after reports of an argument between four men involving weapons.

Police were called to a disturbance in Wyld’s Lane, Worcester at 7.10pm yesterday.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "Police were called after members of the public reported an altercation between four men involving weapons.

“On arrival at the scene, officers found a damaged vehicle and a man in his 30s with the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of affray.”

He has been released on police bail until April 30 pending further inquiries.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened is asked to call Worcester police station on 0300 333 3000 quoting 495S 110412, or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

OOps seems familiar in Wyld's Lane., Just a few years ago there was what was described by onlookers as a battle involving 30+ men from different communities, and there weren't any arrests then, so why now?
