A NEW play will reflect on the political and personal consequences of living in a capitalist world and the cost of success.

Inua Ellams combines poetry, graphic design and theatre in Black T-shirt Collection, which comes to Cheltenham’s Parabola Arts Centre on Friday, April 27 from 7.30pm.

The production, on tour from the National Theatre, tells the story of two foster brothers building a global t-shirt brand and their journey from a market in Nigeria to a sweatshop in China.

Inua Ellams was born in Nigeria in 1984, and moved to the UK as a teenager.
