Police appeal for information after thieves steal mobile phones
1:10am Friday 13th April 2012 in News By Sarah Taylor
THIEVES who broke into a Worcester mobile phone shop on Tuesday made off with a significant number of mobile phones.
Police are now appealing for information about the burglary at the Three Store on the High Street between 8.30pm and 8.45pm.
It is believed the offenders got into the shop via the front door and they were possibly in possession of a set of keys.
Detective Sergeant Dave Hall from Worcester CID said: “This is a high value burglary which took place in the city centre. I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw a dark coloured Volkswagen Golf in the immediate area of the shop between the times of the burglary, and who might be able to offer any further description of the car or its occupants.”
Anyone with information should contact 0300 333 3000, quoting 585S 100412, or independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
