THREE Worcestershire women have found romance despite not getting a date on TV show Take Me Out.

Kelly Page, of Worcester, and Malvern twins Kate and Lucy Goody all featured on the popular ITV dating show.

But none made it as far as the Isle of Fernandoes where matched couples were sent to get to know each other better.

As the final episode of the show aired on Saturday, April 7, viewers held their breath to see which girls would leave their lights on to be in the running for a date with the four final bachelors.

Sadly, neither of the twins, who were still in the show at that stage, left their lights on.

But since leaving the show all three have found romance.

Miss Page has met her perfect man, Kate is dating someone and Lucy has been talking to a guy she met on the show.

Kate Goody, aged 26, who like her twin Lucy didn’t leave her light on once, said: “I did wish I kept my light on for David, he was gorgeous.

"But later we found he has been dating five other girls on the show so I am glad I did turn it off in the end.

“I am really glad I did the show and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for their Mr Right.

"Lucy was gutted she didn’t meet anyone but she has been talking to Luke since the show.

“I have already been asked for my autograph and we’ve had a great reaction. There hasn’t been anything bad said about us, which is a nice feeling.”

Miss Page, of Monarch Drive, St John’s, said since the show lots of men have approached her but she has found romance with a chap she met up with at a Take Me Out reunion in Newcastle.

The 21-year-old said: “I went on the show to try and open my mind to different types of guys but it was hard to leave my light on.

"I would have liked a date for the full experience but the few times I did leave my light on it got switched off.

“I have a boyfriend now and he is just my type. I have never dated the perfect man before him.”
