A fund-raiser joined some famous sporting faces as they stepped out in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
Tony Caldwell joined cricketing legend Sir Ian Botham and former British tennis number one Tim Henman on the Birmingham to Clent Hills leg of a nationwide walk.
Mr Caldwell, of St Patrick’s Close, Evesham has raised more than £1 million for the charity since 1977 when his son Simon, who died from the disease, had the illness diagnosed at the age of three. He said: “Sir Ian does a really good job for us. This year I didn’t walk it all but I have in the past. Tim Henman was very nice and it is always good to speak to people raising money.”
