RESIDENTS at a Worcestershire care home were kept entertained by some magical goings on.

During an ‘Enchanted Faery Day’ at Waterside Care Home, in Leigh Sinton, near Malvern, residents enjoyed singing and dancing, followed by a visit from a pony dressed up with flowers in her mane and glittery golden hooves.

They also tucked in to woodland rabbit stew, frogspawn pudding and – of course – fairy cakes.

Spokesman Karen Rock said: “The pony made a big fuss of everyone, even going up in the lift to visit some of the more frail residents in their rooms. It was a truly magical afternoon.”
