WORCESTER Air Cadets took to the sky during a special glider flight.

The youngsters from 187 (City of Worcester) Squadron, Air Training Corps, attended a gliding school in Little Rissington, the Cotswolds.

For three of the Cadets, it was their first time in a glider. Cadet Fraser Callaghan said: “It was a fantastic opportunity and I was pleased that I was selected to go.”

The Cadets enjoyed a 25-minute flight over Little Rissington where they were allowed to take control of the glider under the supervision of the pilot.
