A MAN had to be cut free from a car after it overturned when it collided with a lorry.
Emergency services were called to the A38 in Severn Stoke, near Worcester, at about 1.30pm yesterday (9)to reports of a crash.
Firefighters from Malvern and Pershore attended, arriving to find a collision involving a car and a cement lorry, with the car on its roof and one man trapped inside.
Working with ambulance crews, firefighters dismantled the inside of the vehicle to make enough space to free the man who was then taken byambulance to hospital.
A woman from the car was also taken to hospital.
