THESE are the deserving Worcestershire schoolgirls shortlisted for the chance to win a prom makeover.

Each of the four finalists was put foward by her school friends for being exceptional in some way.

Worcester News readers must now choose the winner of a prom dress, worth up to £330, from Lacewings in Astwood Road, Worcester, along with a new hairstyle courtesy of nearby salon Holistic Hair.

Sharon Farmer, who runs Lacewings, dreamed up the idea to give away a dress to someone who had suffered hardship, overcome personal difficulties or done well at school.

She has received more than 500 nominations for schoolgirls across Worcestershire, from their friends or teachers.
