A 23-YEAR-OLD man is charged with a string of sex offences against girls as young as 12.

Jeremy Pond, of no fixed address but formerly of Worcester, faces 14 allegations relating to seven victims aged up to 15 years old.

The offences, all said to have happened in Worcester, date back to August 2006 with some as recent as September last year just before his arrest by police in October.

Pond was remanded in custody at a Worcester Magistrates Court hearing.

He is now due to appear before the city’s crown court on Thursday.

The charges include allegations that he arranged to meet girls over the internet and by phone and incited them to carry out sex acts.

Another charge alleges that Pond, between August 20 and August 28 last year, incited a 14-year-old girl to be in pornography.

Other charges are:

• Between August and September 2011, he sexually touched a girl aged 15.

• During the same period, as above, he sexually touched a girl aged 15.

• On September 10, 2011, he sexually touched a girl aged 15.

• Between February 14 and April 6, 2011, he sexually touched a girl under the age of 16.

• Between February 14 and April 6, 2011 he sexually touched a girl under the age of 16.

• Between February 14 and April 16, 2011, he communicated with a girl on two occasions and caused or incited her to carry out a sex act.

• Between August 21 and August 31, 2011, having met with a 14-year-old girl on two occasions, he caused or incited her to carry out a sex act.

• Between the same dates, as above, he sexually touched a 14-year-old girl.

• Between August 20 and August 28, 2011, he caused or incited a 14-year-old girl to be in pornography.

• Between August 23 and August 28, 2011, he sexually touched a 14-year-old girl.

• On August 28, 2011, he caused or incited a 14-year-old girl to carry out a sex act.

• On August 3, 2011, he caused or incited a 12-year-old girl to carry out a sex act.

• Between August 2006 and August 2011, he made 130 indecent images of children.

• On September 27, 2011, he made 28 indecent images of children.
