BECKY Hill is working hard ahead of tonight’s live performance on BBC’s The Voice but said if she is voted off, she’ll go with her head held high.

The 18-year-old, from Bewdley, wowed the coaching panel with her first live performance two weeks ago.

And she is confident that she has what it takes to do it again.

She said: “I feel like I’ve got a really good song and I’m going to really try hard this weekend.

“If I leave, I’ll go with my head held high.”

She admitted that her first live performance singing for the public vote two weeks ago was nerve-wracking, but she had gone into it with the same attitude.

Following her performance of Basement Jaxx’s Good Luck, which received rave reviews from the coaching panel, Becky said she has chosen another popular song which she thinks will be a hit with the public.

She said: “When everyone hears it, they’ll like it.

“It’s just a wicked tune. I think it’s important to do a tune that you as an artist really like.

“When I heard Good Luck back in 2004, it was one of those songs.

“It’s constantly been on my iPod, it never really gets old and it’s the same with this tune.”

This weekend, Team Jessie will also perform with their mentor.

Becky said: “It’s quite intimidating, she’s such a good vocalist but at the same time I’ve learnt a lot from her by singing with her.”

But one part of the weekend’s show that Becky is not looking forward to is tomorrow’s group performance.

She said: “For me, it’s a case of too many cooks spoil the broth.

“I like the individual performances, but the group performances take that away.

“I used to like performing with a band. Me and The Voice UK band have got a good relationship and we get on well.

“It’s nice to know they are behind me.”
