A woman has been pulled from the River Severn by a passer-by.
The woman was unresponsive and had to be given oxygen at the riverside by paramedics and firefighters.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called at 4pm to reports of a woman in the water between Brown's restaurant and the rowing club.
Firefighters were unable to find out how the woman, who was fully clothed, came to be in water so launched boats to search for any other casualties.
However, nothing was found.
The woman has been taken to hospital.
