Olympic Torch - maps

ICONIC: The Olympic Torch ICONIC: The Olympic Torch

THE Olympic Torch is just around the corner and we're planning loads of coverage here at the Worcester News.

We'll be running a live blog on this website from tomorrow afternoon and covering the musical extravaganza at Worcestershire County Cricket Club in the evening.

If you can't make it to either event keep an eye on our homepage and grab a copy of the WN on Friday where we'll be publishing around eight pages of words and pictures from the once-in-a-lifetime event.

If you plan to pop down to see the Olympic Torch for yourself, click the links below for maps and times.

The club shop and main reception will be closed all day and can be contacted by telephone only between 9am and 3pm.

Vehicles that are parked in any of the car parks after 5am will be towed away.

The paper would fold (no pun intended) if people from outside Worcester didn't buy it.

Can't wait for it all to pass me by and on to the next town quite frankly. And Friday's WN extravaganza will be Saturday's fish and chip papers. Yum.

^^ What he says, as the survey on here showed the majority have no interest in the torch thing and the Olympics, that's leaving aside the drugs the money and other "baggage" the event carries.
However the Jubillee in 10 days time is something to be proud of and well worth celibrating, looking forward to that.
